In reply to the whisk-as-egg-dipper hack, Parenthacker-extraordinaire Adrienne (@babytoolkit) tweeted that she uses a pasta server to dip Easter eggs. This is even better than the whisk because you can gently roll the egg onto its stand to dry.
What stand, you ask? In the comments on a past post, Sarah suggested balancing the eggs sideways in an egg carton, but I also like the idea of sticking pins into a styrofoam board. This could be a great use for the insulation material packed into large electronics boxes.
