Dry wet shoes in front of the refrigerator vent

Refrigerator vent

From Sheridan:

I put my boys' wet shoes in front of the refrigerator and the fridge vent blows on them all night long. Shoes are all dry by morning!

WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT? Oh yeah, that's what's so great about Parent Hacks...someone else did!

Thank you for this brilliantly simple hack, Sheridan.

If you need faster-than-overnight shoe drying, here's a trick for drying shoes in the clothes dryer...with no thumping.

While we're thinking about our refrigerator vents, you know you need to clean those condenser coils every six months, right? One of the best ways to prolong the life of your fridge.

I've got a refrigerator coil cleaning brush --  it takes care of the job in five minutes.
