Minimalist Parenting book trailer [VIDEO]
When Christine and I thought about creating a book trailer, we just couldn't get excited about filming ourselves talking about the book. We wanted something different...something that captured the message and spirit of Minimalist Parenting without our narration to get in the way.
Thanks to the generous help of several talented photographers, one video editing genius and some royalty-free music, we ended up with a book trailer that went beyond what we ever hoped for. Have a look!
Karen Walrond of Chookooloonks graciously provided her video editing skills -- saving our butts, because we know next to nothing about video. She also contributed several stunning photos and helped us choose the music. Karen is the creator of a number of gorgeous videos featuring her photography, including this one that went viral just a short while ago.

This looks amazing. I can't wait to read it. And what a great trailer.
Also: I kind of hate it when other people write the book I'm meaning to write before I get to it. You totally just did that. Dang. Nice work.

So glad you like the trailer.
And Lisa: I can't say this emphatically enough: if there is a book you want to write, write it. Your voice and perspective will be unique. It's not as if no one's ever said what Christine and I are saying in MP...but no one's had our experiences, or our communities. We feel a real passion for this message, and we felt like we could get that across in a way that would truly help.
