Big news: Minimalist Parenting now available for pre-order!

Minimalist ParentingIt's been over a year since Christine and I put our heads and hands together and set off on the challenge of writing a book. I am so excited to share with you that MINIMALIST PARENTING is now available for pre-order at AmazonBarnes & Noble, and your favorite local bookstore!

Parenting books are what brought me to the Internet. I had a crotchety newborn who didn't want to follow the rules laid out so convincingly by the experts whose books I was reading. You showed me that real parenting wisdom is varied, and it comes from knowing yourself and your family. You told me, loud and clear, I wasn't alone.

The irony of co-authoring a parenting book isn't lost on me. At some point, Christine or I may someday, somewhere be referred to as "parenting experts" because of it. What I'm most proud of about Minimalist Parenting is that it's about how each of us is the expert in our own family. Sure, Christine and I have lots of advice and practical tips to share, but it starts from the assumption that  you know what will work for your family (even if it doesn't feel like that right now).

So! It's a good book! If you can, please pre-order a copy (or a few)! Visit AmazonBarnes & Noble, or Indiebound to order through favorite local bookstore. Pre-ordering is a huge help to us as we get our book launch underway.

I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me a voice. This book never would have happened were it not for your trust and your willingness to keep talking with me for all these years.

Let's let the world know what we've been up to!

Thank you, Teresa! Yes! It will be available in every ebook format on release day (3/19/13). If we can manage to nudge that date a little earlier I’ll update you!

  3. Erin says

Asha, just wondering what stage of parenting this book is most aimed at. My kids are six and nine, and it’s been a few years since I’ve read any parenting book, but I am intrigued by the premise.

  4. Asha Dornfest says

Hi Erin. In fact, I think you’re in the perfect “zone.” The book is aimed at parents whose kids are zero-to-tween.
