Green food taste test makes trying new vegies fun
via binspiredmama.blogspot.com
So many times, the hurdle isn't the food itself, but the trying of something new. Krissy of B-Inspired Mama came up with a brilliant way to reduce her kids' wariness about green foods: a green food taste test, complete with fun chart!
I love that the "test" includes the usual suspects (broccolli, celery) along with silly sweet options (green Jello). Even if the conclusion of the test is "I like Jello more than celery," the focus on fun and on trying something new is worth it (in my opinion).

What a great idea! When my brother was little green was the "yuck" color. Nothing green went in his mouth until he was at least 10, not even green candy!

This is exactly the kind of stuff I am looking for right now. I really want my kids to be able to grab healthy snacks when they are hungry and not look through the pantry to find something to eat. I love the idea of the muffin tin too.
