Craft + storage solution: Glass bottle hair band holder

Glass bottle hair band holder

Maisha's elegant solution for keeping ponytail holders accessible:

We recently started keeping our hair ties on a glass bottle filled with paper stars, a reduce-reuse-recycle craft project we did a few months ago. It looks awesome and works great!

Wrapping them around the handle of the hairbrush works too.

Not quite as elegant as this, but we do something similar to corral the dozens of rubber bands (from newspapers, etc.) that were junking up our junk drawer: they are now all around an empty toilet paper roll, still in the junk drawer.

I think it definitely looks neat but I don't like doing this because its stretches them out. I just toss them in an old ceramic candle holder I used as a decoration in my bathroom.
