Contain hair styling supplies in a tackle box

Amazon: Plano Two Tray Tackle Box In the comments of a hack showing hair accessories stored in a plastic cleaning tote, Mia shared her method, which may work even better for some:

We've started using a tackle box to store my daughter's hair accessories. The bottom is big enough for brushes, detangler, etc.

Amazon: Plano 2-Tray Tackle BoxIt can be closed to prevent the baby from tasting the barrettes, and when it turns over the mess stays inside. And sorting the accessories into the different trays seems to keep my daughter distracted while I detangle.

I found a cute pink and purple tackle box on Amazon, but you can also find tackle boxes in sporting goods stores and craft stores.

I use a tackle box for my sewing supplies too! Great idea for hair things though

Am I the only one who remembers Caboodles? They were overpriced tackle boxes for hair doodads and makeup for girls.

(also I hit preview to review my comment, and the page showed my comment, then refreshed and lost the comment.)

I remember them, too...all of these accessory hacks have reminded me of toting my Caboodle around to all the horse shows when I was a kid. My trainer would tease me about it!

Now that is clever! Hadn't ever thought of that. I guess my husband's days for fishing are numbered...

I just bought a set of caboodles on Amazon. Tackleboxes don't have a mirror! ;)

the airways; but at the height of disco, this was a real worry for rockers of a conservative stripe.
