Never had much success with yard sales. We started using Craigslist to sell locally, or Free Cycle to give away unwanted, unused items. This has been a blessing and turned out to be a great way to meet people also.

I don't like to do all the garage sale work myself. I've turned to seasonal consignment sales, like Just Between Friends (JBF Sale). All I have to do is prepare, price and drop off my stuff. They do the rest!
