Skyrest Travel Pillow works well as a kids' travel footrest (no more kicking the seat in front)

skyrest.jpgDave's got a great idea for solving the "restless feet" problem on road and plane trips:

We know of the problems that are caused by children's feet dangling off their car seats. But there are few alternatives on the market and they are expensive and fit few vehicles. The Skyrest Travel Pillow works great in any vehicle. Just turn it upside-down and inflate it to fill the space and reach your child's feet. The bottom is easy care vinyl. No more dangling feet kicking and resting on the back of the front seat. We have noticed our kids are less restless on the long trips.

Oh, awesome, we are just getting to this stage, this is a great idea!

We found that a copy paper box fit perfectly on the floor of our minivan. It was the perfect height for our little boy to rest his feet, could get filthy without worry, and added a little extra storage. They're cheap and easy to replace.

anyone have an idea for boosting a little one up into a minivan on their own?

Way to large for airlines, etc. The simple beck pillow works best for children and for adults. Bucky sells some god ones.

Great tip. I always laughed at those things. (Not that I still wouldn't laugh if someone used them the way they are intended.) Maybe laugh is too strong. Snicker and point, more like it.

So I just saw one of these things in the Skymall catalog on the flight home from Florida. Right next to the several products that cater to dogs who need to pee indoors. (I always say that you can learn a lot about America by reading the Skymall catalog.)

Before this hack, I, too, would have snickered. But it's a great hack! Thanks again, Dave.
