LeapFrog Dream & Learn helps kids get smarter while they sleep

LeapFrog Dream & Learn

I'm always on the lookout for products that apply technology to parenting in a useful or interesting way. Well -- LeapFrog has come up with a gadget that promises to change how we think about learning: the Dream & Learn Smart Orb. Instead of posting a full review here, I'll direct you to Adrienne's announcement at the superb Baby Toolkit.

ha! ha! ha! Good one!

Ahhh, you totally got me for a few minutes there! I was all ready to be pissed that the blogs were shilling such an annoying product, and uncritically! Hahahaha...

LeapFrog definitely has a sense of humor :)

By far the best, most creative april fool's fun I've seen all day. Love to see that Leap Frog has a sense of humor.

I want one that whispers "Drink Coca-Cola"

While this article was only an April Fool's joke, there is a book that explains a technique to help children with behavior and anxiety issues while they sleep:

http://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Talk-Breakthrough-Technique-Transitions/dp/0809228009/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1238677015&sr=8-1

You got me. Giggle. At first I was thinking, "Have you guys never read 'A Brave New World'"? Good one. :)

This is the first April Fool's joke I've ever pulled off! Thank you to: Adrienne for on-the-spot teamwork, LeapFrog for an inspired gag, and everyone for playing along.

My work here is done.

you realize this is a joke, right?

Thanks, Asha! That was fun!
