Amazon Gold Box: Coolpix L18 digital camera 42% off
I know so many people whose point-and-shoot digital camera of choice is the Nikon Coolpix. So I thought you might like to know that it popped up in today's Amazon Gold Box: 42% off the Nikon Coolpix L18 ($129.95, usually $225.95).
The price expires on April 12, but they often run out of discounted items long before that, so if you're interested, grab it!
Update! As of 12:50pm PST, if you click thru the link on the Gold Box page to the actual Amazon listing, the price there is $10 less -- $119.95! Not sure how long it will last -- check it out!

I just saw the same one (moments ago) on wal-mart.com for $99 if that helps anyone; you can get it in a bundle with an SD card or a camera case.

Not to be critical, but this doesn't seem to be that great of a price. This camera can be purchased at Walmart and Staples (and others) for less than $100. I love Amazon deals, but they can be a bit deceptive with the % off regular price.

Thank you for commenting with better prices elsewhere. I always hope folks will do that -- the goal is to find the bargains wherever they are!

less spam and more hacks please. :)

Hi Amy,
I try only to post Amazon stuff here which seems relevant to readers and is a good deal. I also always put "Amazon" in the title so people can skip it if not interested.
That said, I have been slow on posting the hacks recently and I'm working on that.
How do other folks feel?

Asha,
I always think it's fun when you post links to deals you find. It's not terribly often, and they're generally things you've found useful yourself, so I enjoy it.

Thanks, Zed. If anyone else has feedback about content/proportion, I'd love to hear it. The last thing I want to do is spam.
