I think this is a really great list. Moms and Dads will really benefit from this. It's stressful enough to have a child in the hospital, but this can help people keep their heads together.

My child's hospital stay occurred when my newborn was 5 weeks old. As a result I think it is always a good idea to get your newborn acquainted with a bottle and have frozen breast milk or formula on hand. Fortunately engorgement made me pump and the cans of formula I received in the mail came in handy.
