Aside from the fact that "Eee" is the stupidest name for a piece of electronics since "Wii," this little PC is fantastic. Tiny, light (just over three pounds!), inexpensive, and with incredible battery life, this is the ideal working computer for a school-age kid (especially one who's saving up to buy it herself). Also great for telecommuters; my husband has one and loves it for working out-and-about (and he's a die-hard Mac guy).

Also makes a very good mom's machine if you want to keep up on the email and can't get 5 minutes of peace to sit down at the real machine. My wife got one for Christmas and I've found it in the kitchen, in the living room....she just takes it wherever she needs it.
