Amazon deals: Colorforms (the original set), Pampers
I found a couple good buys at Amazon today:
Colorforms -- a duplicate of the original set from 1951 -- is on sale for 67% off the regular price ($10.99; usually $32.99). Simple geometric creativity! I remember playing with these myself!
The set includes 350 colorful die-cut vinyl "clings" that attach to the glossy spiral-bound book (included) or to any other glossy surface. Kids of any age can rearrange the clings into simple constructions or elaborate scenes just about anywhere. A great travel or take-along toy, and a timeless gift.
Also, there's a special on a bunch of Pampers products: 15% off the regular prices, plus an additional 15% off if you sign up with Subscribe & Save. This deal ends 12/7 (Sunday), so put your orders in ASAP to take advantage of the discount.

Wow! Thanks for sharing! That is a great deal. I loved colorforms as a child.
Also, the Subscribe & Save program on Amazon is one of my 'favorite things'. I use it for laundry detergent and dish detergent. It's very economical and I never worry about running out.

We LOVE this Colorforms set, and the book makes it easy to keep track of the pieces (we have only lost one small square in the last year).
Colorforms are great on the fridge: http://babytoolkit.blogspot.com/2008/03/bigger-canvas-for-colorforms-and-it.html
and are phthalate free: http://zrecs.blogspot.com/2008/02/in-life-less-toxic-some-classic-toys.html
