Label disposable cameras that still have a few shots left
From Russ and Becky:
I don't know how many people still use disposable cameras, but I hope this helps the few that do! I was always hanging on to cameras with a few shots left hoping to use them up later. But when I needed another one I couldn't find it and so bought another (and so on) until I had a drawer-full in the kitchen. I had all of these half used cameras with no idea what was on each one. It made it difficult to know which one to develop first or not at all!
Now, when I take my camera with me use a marker to write on the outside of the camera the date and the event I'm photographing. Viola - no more black hole cameras!
It occurs to me that disposable cameras could be a fun diversion for the kids at Thanksgiving.

We still use disposable cameras on camping and fishing trips. I like this tip!

I put a disposable in the bag I pack for the hospital, while expecting. I don't want to keep the digital there, because we use it to take pics of the kids. But, I don't want to forget a camera, should the trip become a rush. Another plus, you get actual pictures. I know I can print the digitals, but when will I?
