I have often described parents as heroes. Think about what it takes to care for a child, from diaper-changing and nose-wiping to guiding to teaching to witnessing to -- eventually -- letting go. It's heroic. There's no other word that can sum up what we do as well.

Did I ever mention how cool that panty set is? I idolized Wonder Woman as a girl. Not so much once my hubs bought me the season one DVD set. As an adult, it was a total disappointment. My boys were lovin' Linda Carter, though.
