Build a fun, free crawling tunnel out of empty diaper boxes
Robyn's got an ingenious use for those big diaper boxes:
My son is 10 months old and loves to crawl through boxes. I had three empty diaper boxes that he would crawl through one at a time. Yesterday I was looking for a way to entertain him and decided to tape the boxes together. He was so excited he wouldn’t even let me finish taping before he was crawling through and laughing. I only taped the long flaps to each other and left the short ones free. Be sure to tape the inside flaps down so they don’t lift up and catch them on their tummy. I can then lift up the short flaps and see what he’s up to or tickle him. I will also lay at one end and “close” the flaps so he can crawl over and open them.
My contraption even folds flat to store under the couch, and will go into the recycling when we're done with it.

I regret destroying all those diaper boxes. They are the perfect size to hold a season of outgrown clothes that kid two will someday wear. Wet wipe boxes too. Who knew a small Lego kit would fit into those wipes boxes- most of which I recycled years ago.

We have made a castle and a rocket ship out of empty diaper boxes and duct tape. Funny they almost look the same to me. Just cut off the flaps off, put the short side on the floor (so the long rectangle is facing you) and tape the flaps to the top of the box making a triangle (point up) for the top of the castle or rocket ship. If you want to get fancy you can even cut out windows for the castle or put Dixie cups on the bottom for boosters for the rocket ship.

I made a "pirate ship" out of the last big box in the house, just tape the flaps closed, cut off the largest side, get cardboard tube and use the part you cut out for a sail.
Now my Daughter (2.5 yrs) won't let me throw it out..... LOL

We used them as race cars one would sit in it and the other would push her sister then they would switch.
