How to remember which plastics are recyclable

See how a dead-simple idea can change your life? From Hazel:

We like to recycle but our village will only let us recycle certain things. I can never remember what number plastics are supposed to have. The last time the list came out, I wrote the numbers on the inside lid of our flip-top garbage can with a sharpie pen. That way it can't be seen from the outside, but I can check quickly as I'm about to throw it out, and it doesn't rub off when I clean the lid.

Thank goodness for Sharpies.
