Valentine hack: Sweet and simple gift wrapping

Not only is Mary's gift-wrapping idea nice and simple, it's "green," too.

Skip the expensive wrapping paper and wrap your gift in a brown paper bag. Tape a doily on top and then apply a heart sticker. Finish off with kitchen twine. beautiful!

Paper-bag wrapping paper also makes a nice vehicle for potato stamps and tempera paint. It's thick enough the paint usually won't seep through.

My parents always wrapped our gifts in the comic section of the Sunday paper.
