Toothbrush holder keeps used spoons contained in the diaper bag

Megan's answer to sticky spoons:
This may be obvious but I have found it the most brilliant of any of my parenting ideas! Whenever we feed the little man when we are out and about, I find myself grossed out at putting the used spoon back in my diaper bag. Or worse, pulling the spoon out to feed the little guy and it is covered with fuzzies from the diaper bag. My hack? A simple toothbrush holder. I found a great one for $1 that holds two spoons perfectly. No fuzzies on the spoon and no foodies in the bag!

Wow. Simple and brilliant. I'm stealing this idea right away.

I like it! My solution has always been to dunk the offending spoon in my water glass after the meal, but my hubs is always grossed out by that behavior. I bet I even have a spare toothbrush holder around - thanks!

We just use a ziplock bag. Then we can also fold up a bib and put it in the same bag. Voila.

That's a great one. I have always used a small ziplock bag for this.

Mine aren't that little anymore, but I bet I can use that idea to carry some of there other knick-knacks. Thanks!

We used brown paper bags that we always stashed a bunch of in the diaper bag--we usually got the generic packs from the grocery store and used them for dirty/clean spoons, bibs, food jars, and to dispose dirty diapers, and later as snack bags when we were on the move. FYI--try the Boon Squirt spoon for rice cereals and mashed foods. It is AWESOME and comes with a cover for the spoon-bowl so we don't worry about the fuzzies from the bag. Once we get to the toddler eating stage, we'll probably just start grabbing the disposable spoons & forks that we get with take out (like Chili's) where they come in plastic covers and when we are done, either throw away or put them back in the cover.

Hmm, we'd always used ziploc bags too, but your solution is much more eco-friendly.
