CD rack as board book shelf

M's storage solution:

A CD shelving unit is the perfect depth for board books. In a regular bookshelf, board books can get pushed back too far, are hard to see when mixed with regular books, are often too small for use with clip-on bookends, etc. When we put board books in the bottom few shelves of the CD tower thingie, the kids could easily see and access them. (And with when our kids were crawlers/new walkers, we didn't want the CDs within their reach anyway, so those shelves were empty.) (And one was a built-in and the other's anchored to the wall, so no toppling worries.)

Such a great idea, which I now notice Caitlin also mentioned in the comments of a past "Talk Amongst Yourselves" post about organizing board books.
