Use a bottle brush to clean champagne flutes
A timely New Year's tip from Jessica:
It would never have occurred to me pre-baby, but this morning when I was doing the dishes, I reached for our bottle brush to clean the champagne flutes, and it was the *perfect* tool for the job!

Yes, they are awesome for that, aren't they?
I loved that discovery too.

Perfect timing. I was just eyeing the dishes and wondering about those crystal champagne flutes.

Thanks for this tip. Hannah and I are major wine geeks and have yet to find a good solution to this problem. I even bought some brushes at wineenthusiast.com for wine glasses. They are total crap. Just useless.

I use them to get down in pitchers and water bottles as well. We've got a glass pitcher with a narrow neck and the bottle brush is the best tool in the world for getting the whole thing clean.

It's also great for cleaning your water bottles. Ugh my hand NEVER fits in the neck.

They're great for cleaning flower vases too!
