I keep meaning to take a photo for my own blog, but I cut the front of old cards into strips and made paper chains out of them. They came out really well. (Also, I am a card hoarder and finally decided that it was a bit obsessive to keep Christmas cards from twelve years ago, so I had a good stash to work with.)

This year I cut out the designs from old cards and my three-year-old glued them to the back of a piece of wrapping paper. I covered the collage with a piece of clear contact paper to make a Christmas placemat.

Scratch paper for doodling for the kids and my three year old loves to decorate with them.
