Extra shower curtain rod as swimsuit drip-dryer
A timely hack from the Hengst family:
Put an extra shower curtain rod in your shower to hang wet towels and swimsuits from in the summertime. The water drips right into the shower and not on the floor.
If you happen to be remodeling your bathroom, there's a double shower curtain rod for just this purpose. A small tension curtain rod would do the same, and could hang toward the back of the bath.

This is brilliant!

Great hack! Why hasn't something like this been around for ages???

What a great idea and not just for swimsuits! Wet ski gear, items you've hand-washed, etc.

What a great hack!
We put a small retractable clothesline in each of our tubs/showers, but the dual bar idea is far less visually intrusive.

Great hack!
I also use these as cheap window covering hangers. Works great inside my stucco framed vinyls. And not one person has asked me yet if it's a shower curtain rod...lol.

great idea- I hang towels and suits on almost anything that doesn't walk away. My kids have morning swimming lessons then we swim for fun most afternoons, making a pile of wet stuff every day. I'll try this trick right away.

Wow, what a great idea! So simple yet so effective, and it looks pretty good too. Nice tip!

I love this idea, although I can't use it now, I'll have to remember it for when we move (we have a free-standing bathtub!)

Call me crazy, but this wouldn't work for me since my existing shower curtain bar is almost directly above the tub wall. Adding another one in the front would only cause drips all over the floor.
Anyone else see the flaw in this idea?

I thought it was behind the current rod a couple of inches.(in the tub)
