Develop a Shutterbug: Time with Kids with Cameras

KidpictureWhen I heard about the "A Little Perspective" kids' photo contest, it struck me as golden Parent Hacker opportunity for some late summer family fun.

Get out the camera, but this time you may get to be the subject or just an on-looker. Take your kids and a durable camera out for a photo safari of somewhere exotic like the backyard, downtown, or a farmer's market. Together you and your child can choose 3 favorite photos to submit. Then you can enjoy seeing everyone else's favorite summer snapshots in the contest's Flickr group. Three lucky kids will win cute camera cases, but all the kids will have their pictures seen by worldwide admirers.

The contest has 3 age groups: under 6, 6 to 8, and 9 to 12. Submissions will be accepted through August 10th, so read the full details at any of the three host sites Snapshot Chronicles, Picture This, or The Little Zygote that Could. Get snapping!
