Wishlist.com consolidates gift registries

Apropos of our recent conversation about store-based gift registries, Brian's hack came up in my queue. He recommends Wishlist.com as a more flexible alternative to a registry tied to a single store.

I found felicite.com to be a wonderful baby registry. It works with most of the major baby stores out there as well as some lesser known ones. You can also set up cash gifts and/or donations.

I'm a big fan of Wishlistr, which is dead simple to set up and has a *very* easy interface:

The difference between wishlist.com and wishlistr.com is that the former actually has a search feature that scans its huge network of retailers (complete with price comparisons) whereas the latter does not...however, the latter has a feature that allows you to import your lists from Amazon and Delicious. Together, they'd make the perfect wishlist site!
