Send those Valentine bears to kids in Iraq

By now you're probably wondering what to do with the one or two or ten Valentine-themed bears you or your kids brought home. Once the novelty wears off, pack them straight into a box and send them to Edmay in Iraq who will distribute them to children there. Here are the details.

For the latest information about how to send toys to Iraq, please see the original post.

Your comments

Around the end of the year I sent a good sized box to her. On Saturday, we received a very nice letter with pictures, almost like a newsletter, thanking us for the donation.

Yes, the leftover plush toys at our house are definately headed to Iraq again

Hi Asha, I want to echo the other Heather's remarks. We got a very nice thank you over the weekend and would love to send more as we have them.

Hi again to all, Asha thanks so much for all you have done and thanks to everyone who has been so kind and generous. Since all of this is done in our "spare" or "off-duty" hours/time - I sometimes get a little behind in getting the thank you letters out and I do apologize for that - once again I just wanted to thank everyone for the great work you all are doing. /Edmay
