Meet the Parenthackers: Dana Rudolph

Dana has sent me a bunch of great pointers and hacks over the last year, many of which she publishes on her own site, Mombian. Two of my favorites: Low-tech babyproofing hacks and Save money with reciprocal museum memberships. Dana and her family live in New York's Hudson Valley, but are on their way to Boston. Good luck with the move! (Any moving hacks to share with Dana?)

Kids?
I have one son who is three and a half.

One-line parenting motto?
It's about love.

Favorite hack?
There have been so many . . . Recently though I made Homemade Peppermint Bark and contributed to RebelDad's Parenting Manifesto, both of which came to my attention through ParentHacks. I think the two together represent what I like most about PH: it gives me practical to-do tips and makes me think about the nature of parenting and the many ways we go about it.

That is a wonderful summary of why ParentHacks is my favorite, too.
