Baby car seat straps and overalls don't mix

Katie's hack brought back memories of wrestling my son into his car seat:

Now that our son is out of his infant bucket car seat, it's been harder to get the shoulder straps situated properly.  It was always a little tough - small shoulders, wide straps, and I was going to blame the seat until I realized we've also been dressing him in overalls, and when he doesn't have overalls on its easier to buckle up the seat.  So now, after I've put him in the seat, I unclip the overalls and pull down the bib.  The straps of the overalls don't interfere with the straps of the car seat, there isn't a lot of extra fabric under the chest clasp, and there are no metal grommets or buttons under the straps.
