New Captain Bogg and Salty video

As you may already know, we're big fans of the Portland pirate band Captain Bogg and Salty. In fact, we love them so much, we've mentioned them here three separate times.

I was fortunate enough to meet Captain Bogg this summer at the Portland Pirate Festival, and I found him to be a charming pirate indeed. We've kept in touch, and he just let me know about the band's first video: Pieces of 8ight (from the album Pegleg Tango). Here it is in best quality on the Captain Bogg and Salty website, or take a quick peek on YouTube.

From the Captain's note to me:

Give it a view, will ye? You can watch it. You can download it. You can pause it, rewind it, and scour it for continuity errors. You can email your friends in Banff, Canada and say, “These are the pirates I was trying to explain to you”.

We hope ye dig it mates, and we hope that ye will pass it along to others who might likewise dig.

Fair Winds to Ye,
Captain Bogg

P. S. If you're in the Portland area -- come to Captain Bogg's Winter Wonder Ballroom Show on Sunday, December 3 -- I'll be there with my family, and we'll be wearing all the pirate garb we can dig up.
