Bring a familiar night light along while traveling

Rachael's sage advice:

All the discussion on the contents of our diaper bags made me think of two staples we recently added:

We went to Costco and bought an 8-pack of these night lights (much cheaper at Costco).   We keep one in our diaper bag for overnight trips - it's amazing how having the same color night light as we do at home really makes a difference when we're sleeping in a strange room.

Secondly, we carry a digital thermometer and baby Tylenol in our diaper bag, as well.  All it takes is one episode of not having a thermometer at midnight with a baby you think might be sick to ensure that you never travel without one again.
