Kid-sized ice cream sandwiches

Ice cream starsSummer's not over yet -- there's still time for ice cream! Laura cuts packaged ice cream sandwiches into smaller portions with a cookie cutter. Less messy and a more reasonable size for her little boy. A money-saver, too.

Great idea! This could work for big cookies and other treats, too.

Plus, who gets to eat the little leftover pieces? Mmmmmmmmm, Mom!

can i ask how this hack is a money saver? yeah, mom may be able to eat the leftovers, but what about just cutting the sandwiches down into halves or threes? my kid doesn't care if it's a star--as long as it's ice cream.

I meant "money-saver" in terms of increasing the number of servings per box. The cookie cutter isn't necessary, of course, just a nice touch.
