Five playthings my children have made out of materials available at Peet's Coffee
A tribute to Merlin Mann's 5ives.
1. a blinking eye out of a dome-shaped iced drink top folded in half
2. the letters I, T, M, W, L, K, H, F, Z, X, and N out of wooden stir sticks
3. elephant ears out of paper cups
4. drinking straw paper worms and caterpillars
5. a pirate's telescope out of a clear plastic iced drink cup

My daughter loves the magic Wonder Woman bracelets (cup sleeves) from Starbucks.

LOL! I love this post. I mourn my old hanging out in coffee house days. With a two year old I now spend my time running after him between the tables trying not to spill my latte on myself! I hope he finds imagination in the stir sticks and empty cups soon!
