Smarter grocery shopping

Dave Cheong has hacked together Grocery Shopping Helper, a little app that sorts your grocery list by aisle, allowing you to speed-shop at peak efficiency. You'll need to do a little work upfront (Dave's written out simple directions), but you'll more than make up the time after a few streamlined shopping trips. [Via Lifehack.org.]

I made something very similar for excel. With my spreadsheet everything is in spcific catagories - not per isle - but it will get you in the general part of the store. There are also fields to type in specifics like brand, quantity, variation etc before printout. It's a very handy thing.
