Parent Hacks admin: Sponsor love

I'm not sure where my manners have been, but up till now I've failed to recognize the sponsors who have advertised on Parent Hacks. FM has brought me some lovely sponsors, so I'd like to take a moment to thank them for supporting Parent Hacks.

OurStory.com: A great service for recording, organizing and sharing your life story, an online baby book, or any other set of memories you want to keep.

Fetch!: A new PBS Kids educational show that's part game show, part reality tv, and part animation. Unique format teaches grade-schoolers about problem-solving, collaboration and creativity. Looks like a lot of fun; I've TiVo'd it and plan to watch it with my kids. I'll let you know what they say.

Catch that Train! Dan Zanes and Friends: Many of you already know and love the music of Dan Zanes. By coincidence, the ad for his new album Catch That Train! appeared as we were discussing favorite kid music. Timing couldn't have been better!

I'll talk about current sponsors ClubMom and Adagio Teas in a day or two. Believe it or not, I had planned to write about each of these services before the ads ever appeared, because I like them so much.

"Fetch" was all that my 4 and 6 year old boys watched for awhile. The first season just ended, so I'm not sure what is happening with it now. I watched a couple episodes and it seemed like a pretty good show.

My kids *love love love* Fetch! My 7 year old is beside himself that the season is over already. I hope they bring it back with new episodes!

I watch "Fetch!" with my daughter who is 4 years old. I think I am more excited when it comes on than she is, and she is pretty perky about it. :)

We got Dan Zanes' "Catch That Train" the other day and my 18-month-old loves it as much as the other Dan Zanes albums we have - a lot!
