How to quickly dress a newborn

Serrina provides a smooshy-newborn-dressing tutorial:

Getting newborns dressed quickly is imperative to their happiness.  Furthermore, getting shirts/onesies over their heads quickly is even more important.  This is what I do:  I put my hand down through the neck of the shirt and hold the baby’s head with my left hand.  With my right hand, I get the material all ready above his eyes to quickly pull on down around his neck.  Once the shirt is around his neck, I cheer and congratulate him on such a good job!  Smiles quickly come and he forgets about the old days of being temporarily blinded by a shirt and he no longer fusses with clothing changes!
