I just discovered "It's Elmo Calling" today...a cool way to encourage good behavior for kids who like Elmo! I might just try it. My twins won't really listen to me about potty training, but they might listen to him ;)

We used a good old-fashioned Elmo doll and play the voice of Elmo. Or talk about his accomplishments in third person giving him praise for something he did. That something he did is what we want our child to accomplish. Seems to work pretty well. Doesn't cost me a dime. (I know what you are thinking the doll was a gift.)
