Light:night: a gentle, portable nightlight
Debra raves about light:night:
I *love* this new nightlight and just wanted to share with the group. It's not glaring or too bright like other nightlights, but gives a cozy colored glow or a brighter light when needed. Plus, it is portable, so my son can put it where he wants it and turn on/off as necessary. Great product design also makes it fun.
I'm expecting #2 in a few months and baby will be sharing the room with my three-year old. I expect the light to be just right for early-morning feedings, without disturbing my older one.
[The price is steep at $40, but hey -- if it buys you a little rest, it may be worth it. -- Ed.]

Er? Is this a BLUE nightlight? Good heavens.
Blue is the WORST color you could have for a nightlight, for adults or babies.
Blue has an extremely short wavelength. Our eyes actually cannot focus completely on a blue color. It's why it's such a vivid color, because your brain can't get all of the detail from blue, it stands out.
This would be an extremely distracting nightlight for me or my wife. We've taped over all of the devices we have at home with blue LEDs, because they drive us crazy at night.
