Kitchen shears cut perfect bite-sized bits
Several of you, including Sara, extol the virtues of kitchen shears:
Use kitchen shears to "cut up" solid food for toddlers. If it's soft enough for the few-of-teeth to eat, but hard enough to require cutting, kitchen shears are perfect for cutting small pieces off of breads, meats and more.
Matthew keeps a pair in the diaper bag and uses them to cut pizza into bits.

This is a great idea. I use kitchen scissors to cut up organic cheese sticks, bananas and all sorts of other food for my daughter. It saves time and cutting boards.
