Happy Mother's Day, Parenthackers

You deserve a day of rest, adoration, and appreciation.

You deserve to know just how important your contributions are to your family, whether you work outside the home or in (or both).

You deserve an ice cream sundae, or a home-cooked breakfast, or a warm scone and mug of strong coffee, or a bowl of perfect, red strawberries.

You deserve to treat your body to something it hasn't had in a while: sleep or a salt scrub or lovemaking or warming sunshine or a silk camisole or silence.

You deserve flowers on your bedside table or in your hair.

You deserve peace.

To all of you: Happy Mother's Day.
