Create an online family hub with JotSpot Family Site
Wiki company JotSpot recently beta launched Family Site, a free service that allows you to create an online hub/meeting place for your family. I checked it out this afternoon -- very nice. A snap to set up, the features are obvious at a glance -- even the tech-challenged among your family should be able to hop on with little trouble. And it's free.
You can use Family Site to create a group blog, share photos, recipes and a calendar, map everyone's location, and even create a family tree.

OurStory.com has a similar service, which allows you to share timelines of personal and family history. There is also a photo feature, as well as the ability to print a nicely bound book which you can give as a keepsake. It's a pretty cool site!
