Butterfly alphabet

Butterfly letters
Have you seen this? Letters and numbers as they naturally appear on butterfly wings. From the website:

For over 24 years the Smithsonian naturalist, lecturer and photographer, Kjell ("Shell") Sandved traveled the world over, photographing all the letters & numbers from the wings of butterflies without harming any.

Twenty-four years! The results are amazing: posters, books, and (of course) your (or your kid's) name in butterfly letters. (Thanks for the tip, Mike, who found this at The Proceedings of the Athanasius Kircher Society.)

I used to have that poster in my office. I always loved it!
