The FDA just approved a new medical device for killing headlice. Efficacy of >99% for eggs. Uses hot air. 30 min. treatment. Data published in Pediatrics. Safe, Non-chemical. I heard will be introduced 4th quarter 09. Larada Sciences, Inc.
Apparently will be providing 30 min treatments in the home for <$95.
