Solving sticky poo problems

Julie confirms that baby lotion solves poop adhesion. (Warning: the end of this post may make you wince.)

From my mother-in-law, and verified by me: when you have unusually sticky baby poo, put a big squirt of baby lotion on a wipe and it comes off fast and easy, sort of like dissolving makeup with Noxema.  (It worked like a charm when our girl ate handful after handful of sand at the beach and was pooping sandcastles, which was both sticky and abrasive.)

It's all about preventive Vaseline'ing. You put on a bunch of the big V after wiping the butt, ain't nothing sticking to that. Cheap and cheerful.
