I hear the new Curious George movie is cute. But when I found out that Jack Johnson did the soundtrack, I was ready to throw the kids in the car and head over to the theater ASAP. We love Jack's serene voice, and are always on the lookout for music our kids might like. Not that all music for kids has to be "kid music," but it's fun, sometimes.

My husband took our just turned 4 year old son to see this movie. It was his first experience at a movie theater and from what I gather, it was a real success! We're very careful about what our kids watch and this movie seemed to be just perfect for the really young ones - no real violence or overly scary parts. We also have the CD and listen to it on the way to and from preschool. Of course, it probably helps that we have a number of the Curious George books that we read at night .
I would recommend both the movie and the CD wholeheartedly. .

in an interesting twist, my 7-year-old bought this for me for valetine's day (which is also her birthday). we've been listening to it a lot.
i'm also a big fan of both g. love and ben harper, so having them appear on the cd was like icing on the cake.

Thanks for the tip. I don't really have an interest in seeing the movie (mainly because my son is too young), but I'm downloading the album now from the iTunes Music Store, where it's $9.99 with a digital booklet and coloring book!
